How to use Scrabble Word Finder?
- Unscramble your letters:
- The fastest way to generate your next Scrabble move is to place the letters from your tile into the unscramble box.
- After you hit the submit button, the tool will generate all the words you can create from your tile.
- Find words based on length and letters
- If you want to fit your next move with a specific letter(s) on the Scrabble board, you should use the word-finding function of the tool. You can select the length of the desired word(s) and starting/ending letters or letters contained in the word in any position.
- Once you submit your search, you will get a list of all words that fit your criteria.
- Choose the dictionary: Our Scrabble Word Finder offers word searches across three dictionaries: US Scrabble, UK Scrabble, and WWF. It also contains a combined dictionary containing all Scrabble words across the dictionaries mentioned above.
- Sorting and Grouping:
- By default, the words are sorted by length, from longest to shortest, and by potential points they carry in the game (excluding bonus points).
- You can always change the sorting priority, whether alphabetical, length, or the number of points carried in the game.
How to get better at Scrabble?
In addition to our Scrabble Word Finder, we can help you take your game to the next level with Scrabble tips and insights. For starters, you should learn how many tiles are for each letter and how many points they’re worth.
Once you’re done with the basics, try to memorize as many high-value words as possible. Here’s our list of the 50 best Scrabble words to use.
After you conquer these 50 words, you should focus on the highest value-per-letter group of words for Scrabble, 2-letter words. There are only 127 of them and they are easy to memorize.
After 2-letter words, switch to two groups of words that will give you the most chance of scoring bingo: 7-letter words and 8-letter words. These are long lists, so make sure you use our filters to extract words with the highest value that are easiest to learn. 50 additional points are not a joke.
